Job objective
To support the planning and execution of digital initiatives across Asia, with a focus on Southeast Asia and China. This role will assist in driving digital projects that improve customer experience, internal operations, and digital product offerings.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of digital projects, including but not limited to platform development, digital tools deployment, and internal process digitization.
- Provide day-to-day support for internal digital platforms, assisting users in resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth system usage.
- Assist in training and communication related to digital tools and platforms to internal teams.
- Act as administrator for selected internal digital platforms, including user management, configuration updates, and content maintenance.
- Independently execute small-scale digital projects or workstreams, with guidance from senior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional affiliates to understand local needs, gather business requirements, and align on digital solutions.
- Translate business needs and requirements into structured specifications, acting as a bridge between business users and IT teams to support solution development and implementation.
- Track and report on project progress and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Monitor trends and innovations in digital technology and assess potential applications for the business.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in digital project coordination, business requirement gathering, e-commerce platforms, or digital business operations
- Passion for digital innovation, emerging technologies, and user-centered design, with a strong understanding of digital platforms (e.g. web, mobile, AI, analytics tools)
- Strong ability to engage stakeholders, ask the right questions, and communicate requirements in a structured and clear manner
- Basic understanding of business processes, with the ability to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities
- Proficiency in an additional Asian language (e.g. Mandarin) is an advantage, supporting collaboration across Southeast Asia and China
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project coordination, workshops, field studies, or stakeholder meetings
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and manage priorities independently
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and well-organized
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing project scopes or business needs
