Job Objective:

  • Responsible for fulfilling customers’ requests in collaboration with the sales support team and sales managers. The ideal candidate should have experience with import / export business, and possess knowledge on international trade rules and policies, as well as experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

 

Key Responsibilities- Customer Service & Support

  • Attend to customer inquiries and requests via phone, email and online portal in a timely and professional manner
  • Check L/C , TT  and make comments for correction if needed.
  • Operate SAP systems to create quotations, sales orders, proforma invoices, invoices and delivery note in accordance to customer requirements
  • Check and communicate shipping documents i.e invoice, DN, AWB / BL and CO directly with customer.
  • Follow up on pending quotations and orders to ensure timely resolution
  • Manage export shipments from other countries into Bangladesh, including air freight into Dhaka and sea freight into Chattogram
  • Ensure compliance with international trade rules and policies, including customs regulations and tariff requirements
  • Provide proactive support to sales managers and sales team members as needed

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure up-to-date customer data in SAP / other ERP systems
  • Follow up on overdue payments directly with customers.
  • Follow up with logistic, finance, planning, pricing department, customs and other department for smooth delivery of goods

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in sales support or customer service
  • Fluent in both spoken & written English
  • Experience with SAP/other ERP systems for creating and managing sales orders, proforma invoices, delivery notes, and invoices
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of international trade rules and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international and local customers and internal team.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
