Your tasks.

• In the area of occupational safety, you will evaluate and analyze new/amended laws and regualtions and identify the need for action (e.g. new EU machinery regulation)
• Creation of operational instructions and specifications for the safe operation of our production and administration
• You support managers in risk assessments and advise on suitable protective measure and accompany their implementation progress (e.g. handling hazardous substances)
• Carrying out safety-related machine acceptance tests for our equipment (self-build, purchased machines) in close cooperation with our mechanical engineering and development departments
• You identify hotspots of danger and factors causing accidents and suggest preventive  measures
• Cross-divisional or international collaboration with internal and external contacts on occupational health and safety
• You plan and carry out system audits for our production subsidiaries worldwid

Your skills.

• A completed tecnical degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.) or vocational training with further training to become a state-certified technician (m/f/d) (mechanical engineering, mechatronics)
• Training as an occupational safety specialist (m/f/d) according to ASiG and at least 3 years of professional experience as a safety specialist
• You have knowledge of how to use the  occupational health and safety management system ISO 45001 and have a high level of technical understanding and very good knowledge of machine safety technology
• Willingness to travel internationalley and good knowledge of English
• You are a team player with consullting skills and a strong service and customer orientation
