Job Objective
We are looking for a experience Sales Support Manager to effectively manage the local sales support team while fostering close collaboration with sales representatives, sales managers, and key departments such as finance and logistics. Ensure seamless coordination within the local affiliate and, where needed, work in alignment with regional sales support managers to drive operational efficiency and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day order fulfilment activities, ensuring high responsiveness to customer inquiries, requests, and purchase orders, with a strong focus on customer success, satisfaction, retention, and team productivity.
- Provide a high level of customer service and leadership support to sales managers, sales representatives, and customers, ensuring consistent and proactive communication.
- Handle and resolve complex customer requests and complaints; support local sales managers and representatives in sales campaigns and customer initiatives as needed.
- Participate in customer visits and negotiations where relevant, especially in cases involving order fulfilment issues.
- Report to local management on customer service-related issues and order fulfilment incidents that require investigation and resolution, while also reviewing order fulfilment efficiency for continuous improvement.
- Initiate, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: sales support colleagues, department managers (finance, logistics), SAP and IT team members, sales division heads, and planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales procedures, and finance compliance guidelines.
- Analyse and manage key performance indicators, report to local and regional management on performance targets and attainment, and develop action plans to drive continuous process optimization and enhanced customer service.
- Make recommendations to the regional sales support manager to improve sales support functions, including team operations, work assignments, performance appraisals, and continuous education and training for the team.
- Collaborate with the regional hub’s sales support manager on projects and provide constructive feedback on new or existing sales processes to support effective roll-outs and ongoing enhancements.
- Support the regional marketing manager with logistics and staffing arrangements for local textile exhibitions where Groz-Beckert participates.
- Travel, when required, to regional headquarters in Singapore or corporate headquarters in Germany for trainings and meetings.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned, which may fall outside the immediate job scope, in support of team and organizational objectives.
Job Requirements

3–6 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or back-office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.

Demonstrated proficiency in content creation for training materials, project coordination, and internal communications.

Technically inclined, with hands-on experience using SAP systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Willingness and ability to travel (when required), including to regional and global headquarters for trainings and meetings.
