Head of Sustainability Management (m/f/d) -fixed-term for 1 year -

Responsibilities

•    Providing line management and technical leadership for the Group-wide sustainability team 
•    Coordinating and managing collaboration with central and regional sustainability coordinators
•    Group-wide coordination, management and implementation of the materiality analysis (risk and opportunity analysis)
•    Further development and implementation of the sustainability strategy, including the definition of targets and KPIs, and ensuring integration into relevant business processes
•    Group-wide management, coordination and continuous development of sustainability reporting in accordance with the CSRD
•    Ensuring data quality, consistency and auditability
•    Preparation of decision-relevant information for management and the Executive Board
•    Project-related support for various sustainability topics

What you bring to the role
•    A degree with a focus on corporate responsibility or a comparable professional qualification
•    Initial experience in sustainability management, sustainability reporting and/or supporting change processes
•    In-depth knowledge of relevant standards (CSRD/ESRS, etc.)
•    Initial leadership experience or expertise in managing complex, cross-functional issues and projects
•    An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as a confident manner at management level
•    Knowledge of tools and software for data collection and analysis
•    Good written and spoken English and German
