Your tasks
- Design of assemblies and individual parts for product-specific tools, fixtures and measuring equipment, including forming tools, cutting tools and clamping devices
- Preparation of assembly and individual part drawings
- Incorporation of design changes to existing assemblies and individual parts
- Creation and administration of master data in the ERP system (material, parts lists, change service)
- Coordination with neighbouring departments such as production engineering, product development, toolmaking and possibly external partners
- Design support and contact person for an operation, e.g. for tools of a specific production technology
- Carrying out minor calculations and tolerance tests
Your qualification
- Successfully completed mechanical engineering studies, ideally with previous technical training, e.g. industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or successfully completed technical training with further training as mechanical engineering technician (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in a design environment
- Confident handling of 3D CAD systems, ideally Siemens NX
- Good knowledge of MS-Office and experience in working with an ERP system, ideally SAP
- Independent, reliable and structured way of working
- Sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of written and spoken English for communication with our production subsidiaries
- Willingness for smaller travel activities to production subsidiaries
